“Sorry, Pumbaa, they were out of lobster!” The acting was very good too, with Young Simba’s actor standing out because of how much emergy and enthusiasm he was giving to the character, and one line from Timon that was improvised that cracked me up so hard. I actually thought I was going to cry at the beginning with the Circle of Life number. Like the previous times I saw this show, I had a blast. Luckily, we got to see it in San Diego, remedying that 2020 problem, and having a fantastic time. We were planning on seeing it in May of 2020 in Denver, but for obvious reasons, that didn’t happen. This was something I’ve wanted to do for a while, not just because I always love seeing The Lion King, as it’s my favorite show ever, but also because my aunt hadn’t seen the show with me yet.
Earlier this evening, on 9/7/22, I went to San Diego to see The Lion King Broadway show at the Civic Center with one of my aunts.
